T Shirt quilts have become the thing to do with all those “Been there, got the t-shirt" events.  From sports teams to favorite places, T-shirts represent a memory. So why not gather them together and get them made into a cozy quilt?

  • Wall Hanging: Nine shirts for a cost of $144

  • Throw Size Quilt: 12 shirts for a cost of $192

  • Perfect Dorm (Twin) Size Quilt: 15 shirts for a cost of $240

Longarm Quilting Service

It’s not a quilt until it quilted (and bound).

Edge to edge computerized

This means computerized quilting done from one side of your quilt to the other and from top to bottom. No marking is done. We have a variety of pantograph designs to choose from.

How to prepare your quilt

  • Your top needs to be squared and all loose threads trimmed and cleaned up
  • Pieced borders need to be stay-stitched close to the edge to keep the seams from separating
  • We recommend you purchase your batting from us. We have Quilter’s Dream 80/20 and 100% cotton batting.  If you provide you own batting, it must be a least 5 inches larger than the quilt top on all four sides.
  • Backing material must be at least 5 inches larger than the quilt top on all four sides. Remove all selvages and press seams open on pieced backs.

Pricing

  • $50.00 minimum charge – This includes squaring, ironing both quilt top and backing, new needle and one thread color
  • $0.02 per square inch of quilt top size (length x width = square inches; square inches x $0.02 = estimated quilting cost
  • $10.00 per seam for backing preparation

Other pricing

  • $12.00/side if extenders need to be added to backing to make it 5” larger than the top on all sides
  • $15 to correct if pieced backing selvages need to be trimmed out of the seam
